Headquartered in Australia and a member of the POLA Group, Jurlique has experienced a fast growth in the Asia Pacific region.
So far, Europe has been far less developed and has a business of 3 to 5 millions €/year mainly in the UK (half in e-commerce and the other half in boutiques, specialty shops, department stores) and in Denmark and Greece through local distributors
With a growing number of consumers mindful of nature, the region has been identified as a major opportunity to grow
Consequently, Jurlique is now looking for its General Manager Europe, a high potential professional to turn around and structure the current business in Europe in order to prepare for a future relaunch of the brand

Objectives and responsibilities
  • Based in : London / UK
  • Contract : 11/2019 - permanent - 115,000£ to 145,000£

Reporting directly to the Managing Director - International Markets based in Hong Kong and a seasoned and international professional in the beauty business, you will be ultimately responsible for turning around and structuring the current business in Europe in order to prepare for the relaunch of the brand in this part of the world

- you will define and execute a strong and efficient trade marketing action plan with our key customers, especially in e-commerce
- you will develop the UK retail business through a selection of key partners in the trade, in London and in other key cities
- you manage a small team of 2 in our London co-working space : 1 training and e-commerce, 1 commercial (the admin is done directly from our HQ in Australia)

Your profile

- You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in several European markets in sales and/or trade marketing of a skincare brand ideally including retail and wholesale with distributors

- You have a truly entrepreneurial mindset and are willing to be part of the building of our brand business in Europe
- You are ready to act as a service provider with an independant service contract with Jurlique's HQ in Australia
- You are engaging, enthusiastic business minded, talented in bonding with people
- You are autonomous, well organized and able to multi-task
- You have a genuine interest and passion for natural beauty products
- You can work in English

Experience years : 10 to 15
