JUNIOR SALES MANAGER - EUROPE
(Position based in Paris 17ème)

Objectives and responsibilities
  • Based in : Paris / France - PARIS REGION
  • Contract : 06/2024 - permanent

The Junior Sales Manager - Europe will have a key supporting role in the business development of the distributors and key accounts retailers. Working directly with the Europe Senior Sales Manager, and in close collaboration with Finance, Trade Marketing, Supply chain & Logistics’ teams, he/she will be actively involved in the daily business and commercial coordination with European distributors & retailers, and internal services. More specifically his/her missions and responsibilities will be the following :

Commercial & Strategic Coordination

• Ensure daily sales management of distributors in the region
• Manage and follow up on distributors’ requests
• Coordinate internally new customer/retailer set up (in direct relation with operations’ team)
• Consolidate & udapte customer database (commercial conditions)
• Consolidate & monitor EU assortment policy consistency among countries / retailers (online & offline)
• Analyse prices collected on various business channels to ensure pricing strategy consistency
• Internal & external coordination & communication of:
-Commercial updates: price list, product availability dates, product information
-Master data & product information files

Orders & Stock Management

• Direct-Retail orders:
-coordinate & follow up with the customer service the direct-to-retail orders,
-allocate & monitor POS materials upon terms & conditions and upon budgets.

• Distributors orders:
-monitor monthly ordering process & collect orders on time,
-support sales team for stock management improvement & arbitration.

• Stock:
- support demand planning team by coordinating needs of local affiliates,
- share stock quotas give away & support sales team to ensure good rotation of stock,
- analyze local stock inventory from distributors.

Sales & Forecast Monitoring

• Sales
- collect local monthly sales reports (WHS/SO),
- analyze sales statistics vs sales objectives: SI / WHS / SO.

• Forecast
- consolidate & analyze distributors’ novelty forecast,
- coordinate forecast of novelties with trade marketing team for direct-to-retail customers,
- forecast consumption follow up (novelties / animation),
- coordinate quotas five away.

Budget Follow-up
• Support sales team in the budget exercises through specific analyses and data consolidation.

Business Support
• Support sales team in the preparation of internal/external meetings.
• Anticipate and ensure trade marketing initiatives are executed on time, in pairs with trade marketing team.

Your profile

• You have a minimum of 3 years experience in the fragrance / beauty industry in a business environment and/or operational marketing.
• You are solution & customer-oriented.
• You have good interpersonal and analytical skills.
• You have the ability to work in autonomy in a very dynamic environment.
• You have a good knowledge of the back office, mastering Excel.
• You are fluent in English and German is a plus
