The House is now looking for a Head of Sales Germany to take ownership of the German business and lead its next stage of development.

Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director and working closely with the Paris headquarters, the Head of Sales Germany will take full commercial responsibility for the German market.
This is a hands-on, field-driven leadership role combining key account management, business development, retail excellence and team management.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage and develop relationships with EX NIHILO’s existing department stores and independent selective perfumeries throughout Germany.
Negotiate commercial terms and annual business plans and ensure effective follow-up throughout the year.
Identify and develop new business opportunities while preserving EX NIHILO’s highly selective distribution strategy.
Drive sell-in and sell-out performance, monitor results and contribute to sales forecasts and budget planning.
Maintain a strong presence in the field through regular visits to clients and points of sale across Germany.
Lead and develop EX NIHILO’s German retail organisation.
Manage recruitment, planning, day-to-day coordination and performance of the field teams.
Coordinate training in partnership with EX NIHILO’s dedicated trainer.
Develop and implement local retail and marketing activations, including events, pop-ups and other initiatives, in close cooperation with the Paris teams.
Manage marketing activations with independent retailers and contribute to initiatives developed jointly with department stores.
Work closely with the dedicated German-speaking Sales Administration function based in Paris on order management, customer service, claims, invoicing and payment follow-up.
Ensure effective product listings and the timely communication of launches and commercial information to retail partners.
Provide regular reporting on sell-out performance and contribute to sell-in and sell-out projections.
We are looking for a commercially driven, hands-on sales leader with an excellent understanding of the German selective beauty and luxury retail landscape.
The successful candidate will ideally bring:
Significant sales experience within luxury beauty, fragrance or a closely related premium sector.
Strong knowledge of the German selective retail landscape, including department stores and independent retailers.
An established network and the credibility to build senior-level relationships with key retail partners.
Proven experience in key account management, commercial negotiations and business development.
A strong understanding of retail operations, sell-out performance and point-of-sale excellence.
Demonstrated experience in managing and developing field-based retail teams.
An entrepreneurial, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
The ability to work autonomously while maintaining close interaction with an international headquarters.
A genuine field orientation and willingness to travel extensively throughout Germany.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Native-level German and fluent English.
The position can be based anywhere in Germany, provided the successful candidate is able and willing to travel extensively across the country.
