Facing today’s market growth and millennial’ needs, Nivose reinvent the brand and wants to take advantage of expected market growth and current rise of digital trends. Today Nivose will re-launch the brand in France and China through a social focused multi-channel go-to-market strategy in order to delivery an excellent customer journey.

To manage and drive this development, Nivose decided to recruit a high potential retail operation candidate to manage whole China Mainland retail business (based in Shanghai).

Objectives and responsibilities
  • Based in : Shanghai / China - Shanghai
  • Contract : 06/2019 - permanent

Reporting to the brand COO (international profile and based in Shanghai) , you will be part of a compact office team (Commercial, Business Development, Marketing, Human resources, Finance...) and will be managing a growing team of store managers. You are responsible of store opening, retail operations and store deployment while developing and delivery the excellence of customer journey experience .
Your key duties will be to:
• Be responsible for the store opening via pro-active interactions with landlords, contractors, local governments, internal functional teams, to ensure company commercial development plan timely delivered.
- Supervising the activities of engaged contractors and operating effectively and safely.
- Being proactive in communicating with Landlords and respond to any relevant issues promptly and efficiently.
- Following actively with local government to get related store opening papers and all security check.
- Coordinating with related functional team (products, logistic, HR, finance, merchandising...)
• Create and setup proactively an efficient retail SOP (standard operating procedure) system following on-going business growth needs.
• Be responsible for the upkeep of the stores/pop-up stores' daily operation: arranging displays, VM, inventory analysis, effective use of manpower, control of operating costs, operational policies, and other retail SOP check points.
• Ensure the best visibility of each store and delivering the best customer services with the support of store managers and stylists.
• Build an engaged and passionate retail team with integrity, leading by example. Manage Retail staff via store managers (4 target cities), including scheduling shifts, conducting training, managing staff conflicts…

Your profile

• You have minimum 7 years of total working experience in retail operation related functions with experience in premium fashion / lifestyle related industry, fast fashion, beauty, FMCG will be also considered.
• You are excited by the opportunity to take ownership of building a new lifestyle brand through multi-channel retail network.
• You are autonomous, organized, pro-active, self-starter, flexible, and able to work under a fast-paced environment.
• Multi-tasking, agile attitude and entrepreneurial mindset, able to switch back and forth from strategy to daily details, able to propose pragmatic solution to problem solving.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• You have good retail business acumen including a drive for retail implementation and execution excellence and details.
• You have a natural passion for lifestyle, outdoor products relaying on a heritage and technology.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English will a plus.
