Our client is a global wines & spirits group with a very large portfolio of world renown brands, strong international reach and its own distribution network.
To support their fast growth in Asia, they have open a new position of MARKETING STRATEGIC PLANNING MANAGER for Asia. (located in Hong Kong – Asia Head Office) to manage the strategic planning process in the region.

:.. Objectives and responsibilities:
|
Under the direct reporting of the Vice President Marketing and in liaison with all Asia business units and brand owners, you will be responsible for developing our Asia’s marketing intelligence to drive improved insight and planning capabilities with respect to the brand portfolio management and strategic planning by:
- Analysing the Brand portfolio (regional and by market)
- Developing New product (price positioning, competitor set evaluation, unmet consumer needs)
- Reviewing key brand growth opportunities (i.e. New levers for growth from established brands)
- Analysing Competitor strategy (pricing, positioning, NPD) and driving competitors' strategy analysis at region level / in relation with Brand
- Reviewing and analysing ROI for media consumption and trends versus market spending
- Coordinating our Marketing Budget at regional level and together with VP marketing, challenging marketing budget and brands' action plan in the region
- Managing the marketing strategic planning process locally, regionally and globally by optimising the use of our in-house strategic planning program
- Acting as a key resource and consultant on the marketing strategic program development and execution for all business units and brand owners
- Providing effective communication and coordination with key marketing associates in all our Asia affiliates, Brand Owners and world Headquarter.

:.. Required qualifications:
|
- You have a minimum of 8 years experience in marketing / strategic marketing (in-House) for Wines & Spirits, FMCG, Luxury Goods, Beauty international companies, or a minimum of 5 years as a consultant for a leading consultancy firm in marketing / strategic Marketing) with global or regional responsibility.
- You have excellent knowledge of Asia and regional exposure
- You have strong communication, organization & presentation skills to effectively work with internal & external stakeholders
- You have a genuine interest the management of premium or luxury brands
- You are willing to travel (around 20 %)
- You are graduated from an accredited university or business school.
- You are fluent in English (knowledge of asian languages e.g Mandarin is an advantage)
